An accomplished architect with a strong focus on multifamily housing and transportation-oriented developments, Bob has spent the last 30 years earning a reputation for designing highly identifiable and sustainable projects that meet developer and residents needs while innovatively responding to the site’s context.
After distinguishing himself at a prominent Seattle architecture firm for over a decade, Bob took a bold step and established Tiscareno Associates in 2002. The firm swiftly set itself apart through its thoughtful design choices, garnering praise from clients and accolades from esteemed organizations like the National Association for Industrial and Office Parks (NAIOP) and the American Institute of Architects. In 2022, Bob's exceptional work was highlighted when he received NAIOP awards for two multi-family developments: Waterfront Place in Everett, and Beam Apartments in Seattle’s International District.
Today, Tiscareno Associates enjoys prominence as one of Seattle's top 20 largest architectural firms. Bob's leadership extends to a diverse range of projects, including commercial and mixed-use developments, with over two dozen projects encompassing 4,000 units currently in design and construction. Nearly half of these boast a construction value ranging from $75-$200 million, a testament to the firm's reputation for resourcefulness and excellence.
Bob's expertise and insights have been widely acknowledged, with articles appearing in national and local publications including Puget Sound Business Journal and the Daily Journal of Commerce. Through his innovative design approach, dedication to fostering community and sustainable cities, and his involvement on multiple ULI Councils, Bob continues to shape the architectural landscape and leaving a lasting impact on the built environment.
