Careful planning, a clear design direction, and thoughtful details helped maximize the available space in this upscale neighborhood market in Yesler Terrace. A palette of exposed concrete, black metal, light wood, and pops of yellow help create the sleek, urban yet lively space the client desired for his new grocery concept. Playing off the client’s logo, the hexagon shape was used throughout the space at various scales to reinforce the brand identity.

The design team worked closely with the client to achieve an ideal layout for the store and the full commercial kitchen, optimizing the space to fit the program and work around existing columns.
