1200 Stewart Street

Located on the edge of the Cascadia and the Denny Triangle Neighborhoods, the two 35-story towers of 1200 Stewart Street create a prominent gateway into downtown Seattle. The design of this project focuses on providing an active pedestrian environment street level while sculpting two towers and a podium level to mediate the various building scales in the area. The two towers and podium levels contain 500 apartment units, ground floor retail on all street frontages, and below-grade parking for 900 cars. The streetscape design for 1200 Stewart was so well executed that it was used as the basis for the recent City of Seattle Denny Streetscape Concept Plan for all of Denny Way.
